Horizontal Tempered Glass is a kind of safety glass. The glass is heated
to around 700oC for forming compressive stress on
the surface and then average shock cool on the surface. Based
on the difference of processing degree, it can be classified
into full tempered glass and half tempered glass. The outer
bumped splinter of half tempered glass is similar with general
annealing glass but the intensity index is double of it. Under
the same thickness, the surface shock resistance of full
tempered glass is higher than general annealing glass 5 times.
The speciality of Tempered Glass is : High shock resistance ,
not easy to be crushed, not easy injure person;
and well heat shock resistance can resist the 200oC
of temperature difference.
